2. Information we collect

• Inquiry details: your name, email address, company, country, part numbers, quantities, requirements, requested delivery date and any notes you submit through an RFQ or quick quote.
• Staff account data: for authorized users of the management portal, we process name, email address, a hashed password and session information.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps and security logs generated when you use the website.

This website does not ask for payment card details. Please do not send sensitive personal data through an inquiry form.

3. How we use information

• Respond to quotation requests and answer sourcing questions.
• Verify part numbers, availability, pricing and delivery options with suppliers and internal teams.
• Communicate with you about an inquiry, quotation or order and keep appropriate business records.
• Protect the website, prevent abuse and troubleshoot errors.
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal data.

4. Legal bases

Where required by law, we process inquiry data on the basis of your consent when you submit the form, our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries and securing the website, the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legal obligations. We normally retain inquiry records for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required for a contract, dispute or legal obligation. Technical security logs are normally kept for up to 90 days. Staff sessions expire after 8 hours. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it.

We use a strictly necessary session cookie when authorized staff sign in to the management portal. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on the public website. If this changes, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for consent.

We use HTTPS, access controls, hashed passwords, restricted database access and other technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data; object to or request restriction of processing; or withdraw consent. To make a request, email sales@qs-ic.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.

11. Children

This is a business-to-business website and is not directed to children. Please do not submit personal data of a child through an inquiry form.
